Merritt Properties Closes On 35-Acre Aberdeen Site
BALTIMORE----Merritt Properties announced today that it has closed on the purchase of a 35.64-acre site at 635-660 McHenry Road in Aberdeen, Maryland. Merritt plans to develop the property, which is less than two miles from Aberdeen Proving Ground, to serve the increasing need for Class A office space and retail amenities in the area surrounding the base.

The groundbreaking took place Wednesday for the $275 million Village South at Waugh Chapel being developed in Gambrills by Greenberg Gibbons of Owings Mills. The mixed-use project is to bring Wegmans and Target to west Anne Arundel County, according to Greenberg Gibbons information.
